it is with untold rhetoric that the world
shrinks and begins anew.
the lights, the spots upon the iris,
delve into fathoms unknown,
never to be revealed.
a velvet darkness fills the cracks and
entices the novice to,
under cover of ignorance,
delight in newness and being.
desires number an endless few,
the sky transpiring with a
wink and a nod to anyone
within range of its love.
at the pier a young man holds his lovers hand
as they leap as one.
