Hello friends.

The latest edition of Foliate Oak Literary Magazine was published today and I couldn’t be happier that my flash fiction piece, Among the Treetops, is part of it. The story revolves around a boy, Alfred, who finds himself high up in a forest, unable to see the ground, or the sky. It is the first piece I’ve had published in over a year and it feels wonderful to have something new out there again.

This is especially meaningful for me as Foliate Oak was the first outlet to see any value in my work, publishing my story, A North-South-Trending, Nested Graben, just over four years ago.

For those unfamiliar, Foliate Oak is a literary magazine run out of the University of Arkansas Monticello. If you’re the creative type check out their submission guidelines here and send them something, they’re lovely folks.
