I’m very happy to say my flash fiction piece, Do-Over, is featured on the front page of today’s Flash Fiction Press.
I wrote the piece shortly after I moved to Alabama, where I found myself miserable and lonely. I tried to start a MeetUp group called Flappers and Philosophers which would focus on the art/life/culture of the 1920s through the 1940s. I scheduled the first meeting and no one showed up so I sat in the Barnes and Noble cafe, watching the baristas, and scratched out this short piece.
