For better or worse, 2016 is coming to a close. Personally it has been my best year for writing, having pieces published in eight different literary journals. The latest, my short story titled Juror #6, came out last week in the Winter issue of Twisted Vine Literary Journal. It can be found on page 90.

Juror #6 follows a man who is dealing with extreme anxiety, a burn over his eye and an irritable bowel as he makes his way through jury duty. It looks at what we feel comfortable with judging (and what we don’t) and how we worry about the judgements of others.

Twisted Vine is a publication of the Master of Arts Interdisciplinary Studies Program at Western New Mexico University.

Thanks to everyone who read/inspired/encouraged/disparaged my writing this year. See you all next year with a bunch of stories.
