I was 27 years old before I realized that liars think everybody lies. When you tell them the truth, they don’t believe you. It’s a foreign concept to them. I admire this project — good work.
Thanks. And thanks for checking out the project. It has at times been painful to look back at how deluded my thinking was at certain times in my life, but it has also offered great clarity and shown me time and time again that, while not always responsible for the situation, I was always responsible for my reaction to the situation, which more often than not just made it worse. Hindsight is 20/20 and all that, but looking honestly and openly at how I acted in the past has certainly helped me to stop from repeating the same mistakes that I had been doing for years and years.
