After a year without any publications, the month of May saw three of my stories come to light and I’m doing my best to keep the momentum rolling. This, the second of the three, was published in Levitate, the literary magazine of the Chicago High School for the Arts. Being from the greater Chicago area, I was thrilled to have a piece in a Chicago-based litmag.
My story in this Issue, “The Waiting Room,” is just under 1000 words. I suppose by most standards that makes it flash fiction but it’s a story, call it whatever you want. The Issue is available as a flipbook on Issuu. While the page number for my story is 125, it can be found on page 141 of the flipbook.
As always, thanks for reading! And be sure to check out all the other great stories and artwork in this issue as well!
